Kundan Green Energy was born from a simple question: ‘How can we guarantee essential power resources to everyone without for future generations?’ While sustainable development is the obvious answer, we chose to address it by focussing on the future to improve the present. By committing ourselves to green energy and our role as catalysts in the transition, we have progressively added sustainable and optimally performing power solutions to India’s energy grids. This growth continues. Our projects have improved the lives of millions of people by providing clean water, better waste management, roads and highways and lighting up of homes. We have been at the forefront of renewable energy development with our presence in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat across various green energy formats. With a robust presence in generation of green energy, we continue to grow rapidly and with resilience across hydro power, solar power and generation of electricity from waste. Our latest foray into the waste-to-energy sector represents our commitment to the ESG principle of circularity.

As we build Kundan Green Energy, we are acutely aware that the fight against climate change and the path to decarbonisation are inextricably linked to our core business-producing green energy to reduce CO₂ emissions, provide access to electricity in disadvantaged areas, and make economic activities more sustainable. By harnessing the earth's most abundant resources-the force of water and the heat of the sun we create energy from these inexhaustible primal sources to power the economy and improve lives. With the launch of our waste-to-energy initiative, we have entered a transformative sector with virtually unlimited potential. In India the estimated energy generation potential from urban and industrial organic waste is 5690 MW. Additionally, waste-to-energy supports a circular economy, with the ultimate vision of zero waste and recycling.

For me, personally, pursuing the green energy agenda allows our innovative spirit and entrepreneurial mindset to find their fullest expression. In doing so, we see the promise of renewable energy everywhere. In our own way, we see ourselves as a force with the energy to change the world within our paradigm. Adding to this deep fulfilment is the fact that we possess the courage, scale, passion, diversity and the resourcefulness to deliver on our promise. Our strategy is rooted in sustainability, technological innovation and geographic diversification.
